weather proof means of mail delivery. They are available in a variety of styles including
mail chests, parcel lockers, collection box units (CBU’s), and drop boxes.
As a mailbox manufacturer, Salsbury Industries can customize some of its pedestal mailboxes to
meet different requirements. One such product is our 4200 series Pedestal Drop Boxes. Standard
pedestal drop boxes are designed to receive correspondence through a mail slot on the front
and retrieved from a locking mailbox door on the back. This unit can be custom made with several
compartments, front or rear doors, slots on specified doors and special master locks. This unit can also
be made in three custom sizes: regular (4275), large (4276), or jumbo (4277). Our pedestal drop
boxes can also be painted in custom colors. Our standard colors are blue, white, gray, and primer.
A custom color, which will require a color sample, can be specified by the customer.
